My first trip to South America. Such great culture and beautiful scenery. I was lucky enough to enjoy this trip with my friend, Marcus, who grew up in Rio de Janiero until he was 19 years old. I was able to meet his childhood friends and live like a 'local'.

Marcus had never been up to see Christ the Redeemer, so we decided to book a tour through Viator. This is a great way to go because you get to skip the lines. It was cloudy all day until we got to the top, then the sun came out and w
e were able to see the full statue. You definitely have to time it right.
